Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the rinnalla mobile applications, websites, Study Hub, communications features, and related services (collectively, the “Services”) provided by Chasing Impact, LLC (“rinnalla,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and the rinnalla Privacy Policy. If you use rinnalla through a school district, healthcare organization, literacy organization, research program, or other partner, additional program or organizational terms may also apply.

rinnalla is designed for parents, guardians, educators, healthcare professionals, and other authorized adults supporting children. Children do not create independent rinnalla accounts. You are responsible for using the Services only when you are legally authorized to do so and for information you provide about a child or family.

rinnalla requires a parent or account holder to provide a name, email address, mobile telephone number, and other limited profile information to create or complete an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it reasonably current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account.

Providing a mobile telephone number for account/profile setup does not, by itself, enroll you in optional recurring text messages. Optional communication channels are controlled separately as described below.

rinnalla provides literacy coaching, family-engagement resources, and educational guidance. The Services are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, or individualized educational advice. Parents and authorized adults remain responsible for decisions about a child’s care, instruction, and participation.

rinnalla’s collection, use, sharing, retention, and protection of personal information are described in the rinnalla Privacy Policy. rinnalla does not sell personal information and does not sell or share mobile information or SMS opt-in/consent information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers may receive limited information only as needed to provide services to rinnalla.

If paid subscriptions or in-app purchases are offered, pricing, billing period, renewal terms, cancellation options, and applicable store or payment-provider terms will be presented at the time of purchase. Payment-card information is processed by the applicable app store or authorized payment provider and is not stored directly by rinnalla unless expressly disclosed in an updated policy.

You agree not to misuse the Services. You may not:

• Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purposes.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, data, or administrative functions.
• Interfere with the security, integrity, availability, or normal operation of the Services.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, copy, or redistribute protected portions of the Services except as allowed by law or written permission.
• Upload, transmit, or use content that infringes the rights of another person or organization.
• Use the Services to collect information from children outside the parent- or authorized-adult experience rinnalla provides.

The Services, including rinnalla branding, software, text, activities, illustrations, designs, and other content, are owned by or licensed to rinnalla and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. rinnalla grants you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable right to use the Services for their intended personal, family, educational, or authorized organizational purpose, subject to these Terms.

The Services may rely on third-party providers and platform services, including app stores, authentication, hosting, subscription management, analytics, communications, and notification services. Your use of those third-party services may also be subject to their terms. If you download the app through Apple or Google, applicable app-store terms remain in effect to the extent required by those platforms.

rinnalla may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue portions of the Services. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available or error-free. We may update these Terms when the Services, legal requirements, or operational practices change. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or by another reasonable method.

rinnalla may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law or contract, address security concerns, or respond to material violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time and may request account deletion subject to applicable retention, legal, and contractual requirements.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. rinnalla does not guarantee specific literacy, academic, or developmental outcomes. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, rinnalla and its officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the Services. Any limitation applies only to the extent permitted by law and does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another law is required to apply. If rinnalla is provided under a separate organizational agreement, that agreement may contain different governing-law or dispute provisions for that relationship.
